Before we begin, ensure your system meets these requirements:

Step 1: Install Safe From Application
After downloading our package, extract the RAR file and locate the Safe From application:
- Right-click the downloaded RAR file and select "Extract Here"
- Open the extracted folder
- Double-click "SafeFrom_Installer.exe"
- Follow the installation wizard (takes about 1 minute)
- Restart your computer if prompted
Note: Some antivirus programs might flag this as suspicious. This is a false positive - you can safely add an exception. Our software is 100% clean and open-source.
Step 2: Add Orange Monkey Extension to Chrome
Orange Monkey is a powerful script manager that will enable our YouTube download functionality:
- Open Google Chrome
- Go to Orange Monkey Extension Page
- Click "Add to Chrome"
- Confirm by clicking "Add Extension"
- You should see the Orange Monkey icon in your toolbar
Tip: Pin the Orange Monkey extension to your toolbar for easy access by clicking the puzzle icon in Chrome's top-right corner.
Step 3: Add Our Custom Script
This is where the magic happens - we'll add our special script that creates the download button:
- Click the Orange Monkey icon in your toolbar
- Select "Script Store"
- Choose "My Scripts" from the left menu
- Click "Create New Script"
- Open the "OM_script.txt" file from our package
- Copy all text (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C)
- Paste into the script editor (Ctrl+V)
- Click "Save" (disk icon)
- Name it "YouTube Direct Download"
Important: Make sure the script is enabled (toggle should be green). If you update Chrome or the extension, you may need to re-add the script.
